During my stay, I loved that there were so many dining options like Rally's Hamburgers and Salty's, both within a short walking distance, which made it easy to refuel after a day of exploring the area. the central location allowed me to enjoy leisurely strolls to landmarks like the First United Methodist Church, really making my weekend adventure memorable.

The room design felt outdated, reminiscent of the 1980s, with peeling paint and sticky carpet. The toilet's low height was quite uncomfortable, and the breakfast offerings left much to be desired, with rubbery scrambled egg patties and minimal choices. The soundproofing is poor, making it hard to ignore noise from neighboring rooms, and there were issues with dampness throughout the room. Internet connectivity was disappointing, making it challenging for any work-related tasks.

The young lady at the front desk was super nice and helped me find a good restaurant for dinner. However, my bathroom had drywall dust and wasn't very clean, which left a bad impression. The shower in the handicapped room had a shower head that was way too high up for easy reach. Also, I had a rough experience with some food that led to a bad case of food poisoning. Definitely could use some attention in cleaning and food safety. I left feeling a bit uneasy about cleanliness.
